Students had lots of great questions about Stolen Child<\/em> and Making Bombs for Hitler<\/em>.<\/p>\n

These Sir Arthur Carty students are holding up a variety of books, including the Japanese edition of Hope\u2019s War<\/em>. I\u2019m holding the Korean edition of Silver Threads<\/em> and the Ukrainian edition of Enough<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The question was \u201cWhich book is your favourite of all that you\u2019ve written?\u201d That is such a difficult question. I love them all! Enough<\/em> holds a special place because it was such a risky book. Back in 2001 when it came out, I was subjected to hate mail and death threats for writing about the Holodomor \u2014 the Stalin-instigated starvation of millions \u2014 for the crime of being Ukrainian.<\/p>\n
