{"id":6297,"date":"2019-10-11T21:36:29","date_gmt":"2019-10-11T21:36:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calla.com\/wordpress\/?p=6297"},"modified":"2019-10-11T21:36:29","modified_gmt":"2019-10-11T21:36:29","slug":"audio-books","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.calla.com\/wordpress\/audio-books\/","title":{"rendered":"Audio books"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;m thrilled that Scholastic Inc is publishing audio editions of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.calla.com\/wordpress\/making-bombs-for-hitler-3\/\">Making Bombs for Hitler<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.calla.com\/wordpress\/dont-tell-the-nazis\/\">Don&#8217;t Tell the Nazis<\/a>. A couple of weeks ago, I had the honour of listening to auditions from many talented actor-readers for these editions and was thrilled when the two narrators who I liked the best were the ones who were selected. Then to add to that thrill, Scholastic asked me if I&#8217;d like to tape my own end notes for both books. I jumped at the chance! The books are being produced in California, but they found a studio close by &#8212; Catherine North Studio in Hamilton Ontario. I went there today and did the recordings. Will Crann was ever so patient and cheerful through the entire session.
